Global API Key

One key authenticates you across every dataset you own.

A new global API key (prefix inf_global_*) authenticates you — not a single dataset. Use it across the REST API and MCP.

What it unlocks:

Create datasets programmatically

Clone datasets

Cross-dataset queries — query across multiple datasets in a single call

Rules:

One active global key per user (rotate with ?force=true)

Per-dataset keys keep working unchanged

One-time reveal modal on creation, GLOBAL badge on key cards in the dashboard

MCP server upgraded to 1.1.0 with three new tools:

inflectiv_create_dataset

inflectiv_clone_dataset

inflectiv_cross_query

All MCP tools now accept an optional dataset_id so a single global key drives the whole client.
